The Portugieser Eternal Calendar is the first secular perpetual calendar developed by IWC Schaffhausen. It automatically considers the Gregorian calendar’s leap year exceptions by skipping three leap years over 400 years. In addition, its moon phase display is so precise that it will only deviate by one day after 45 million years.
With the 2024 Portugieser collection, IWC Schaffhausen introduces new dial colours and design codes. All watches feature intricately crafted dials in Silver Moon, Horizon Blue, Dune and Obsidian – reflecting the unique atmospheres of day and night.
