STYLISH AND PRACTICAL
On most weekdays in New York City, my day kickstarts with a workout routine at my local weight training studio, Liftonic. I believe that every moment is an opportunity to add style to utility, and heading to the gym is no exception. Clad in a practical yet stylish ensemble—chunky sweater, thick socks, comfortable sneakers, and a beanie—I navigate the city’s streets and subway stations en route to my workout. The classic IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XX completes the look: a testament to the blend of functionality and elegance, perfectly suited for the urban athlete.
QUIET LUXURY AT ITS FINEST
When I’m not making my cortado at home, I have a handful of favorite coffee shops in the neighborhood, like Yanni’s, Devoción, and the minimalist-chic confines of Foreigner Coffee. Here, my attire bridges morning comfort with work-day respectability: a t-shirt, luxe cardigan, and suede slides. As I sip coffee and comb through my favorite sources for inspiration, the Portofino Perpetual Calendar on my wrist stands out for its quiet luxury.

READY FOR ANYTHING - 5th AVENUE STYLE
Afternoons are typically a whirlwind of activity, filled with meetings in Midtown, engagements in the East Village, and any number of events across the city. Today’s choice of attire is a carefully curated mix to hit the mark for all of them: an ultra-soft, chocolate cashmere suit layered between a simple tee, a puffer bomber and houndstooth down overcoat—necessary to keep out the NYC winter winds. The busy traffic of Fifth Avenue provides a dynamic backdrop to this sartorial choice, perfectly complemented by the Portugieser Automatic, a timeless timepiece that embodies the pace of my life in the city.
When retreating to the comfort of my Flatiron loft, I pair my layers down to an ultra-soft sweater and trousers and indulge in a favorite ritual (or guilty pleasure—depending on the day): digging into my vast home bar. It’s at times like these that I let myself daydream about my next upcoming adventure, adjusting my cherished Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Chronograph to the next destination I’m scheming to visit. Next stop, Tokyo?

TIME PAUSES AT UNION SQUARE GREENMARKET
My week often wraps up with a visit to one of my favorite stops in the city, the Union Square Greenmarket. In a layered, it’s-almost-the-weekend ensemble of corduroy trousers, loafers, a sweater, and a scarf, I grab a loaf from the spot with the most perfectly-baked baguettes, She Wolf Bakery. I especially love matching the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41, with its leather strap and green dial, to the earthy, bustling setting at the market. Slipping fresh apples into my bag, I keep an eye out for chefs from any number of critically-acclaimed dining destinations, all of whom also make this farmer’s market their weekly go-to.
To the uninitiated, a week in NYC can seem daunting. But discover a few thoughtful routines, and the metropolis quickly becomes an intimate neighborhood filled with quiet moments and reflective rituals. For me, these IWC timepieces enhance these moments, each their own characters in the story, each one representing a distinct aspect of my journey through this ever-evolving city.
