The Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante Edition “Boutique Milano” Story
The Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante Edition “Boutique Milano” has a stainless steel case, a blue dial, and gold-plated hands. The double chronograph function extends the standard chronograph with a split-second hand, making it possible to simultaneously measure two short periods of time with down to the second accuracy. The outer flange features a telemeter scale, the inner dial ring a tachymeter scale. The engraving on the case back depicts the “Biscione”, the winding Viper, which also adorns the coat of arms of the Visconti of Milan. This watch is limited to 150 pieces, fitted with a black alligator leather strap and is exclusively available at the IWC boutique in Milan.
The rattrapante chronograph features an additional hand – the split-seconds hand – which makes it possible to record intermediate times.
