MADE IN SCHAFFHAUSEN

So many in fact that bearing in mind the relatively short period of time that Pallwebers were manufactured, that it could not have been "design changes". My theory is that the individual dial artists / enamelers working in the ateliers of the supplier to which IWC had outsourced the dial making, had simply been given some lose guidelines and a free hand on the individual dials.I do think Schaffhausen stipulated on orders to suppliers that they wanted X dials in French, xx in English, Dutch, German, etc. but that the rest was left up to the atelier.
