VISIT OUR EXHIBITION TO DISCOVER THE NEW COLLECTION
For over 80 years, IWC Schaffhausen has brought man’s dream of flying to our wrists with its expertly engineered Pilot’s Watches. From 1st to 9th July, be immersed in the heritage of the Swiss watch manufacturer in aviation and discover new horizons alongside its newest fleet of Pilot’s Watches.
Display of Historical Pieces
The story of IWC’s Pilot’s Watches began in 1936 in Schaffhausen with the Special Watch for Pilots, which was developed by keen pilots who knew exactly what was needed in a timepiece for the cockpit.
12 years later, IWC’s engineers unveiled the Mark 11 – a purist, navigational ticker that continues to inspire, up until now, the design and functionality of the company’s Pilot’s Watches. Get up close with these iconic creations, as they make a rare appearance in Malaysia outside the IWC Museum.
The Longest Flight
A carefully restored Spitfire, boasting a unique silver-chrome finish, will take off from Goodwood on 5th August for a daring flight around the world. The legendary aircraft, built in 1943, will cover more than 43,000 kilometres over four months, visiting some 30 countries along the way.
The expedition, which is proudly supported by IWC, aims to showcase the company’s commitment to engineering and precision – both of which are required in the creation of fine performance timepieces and aircrafts.
