IWC Schaffhausen
Timeless Design
Thanks to its iconic design the Portugieser Automatic has long been recognized as a modern classic and is now available in two new nautical variations
In the classic, 42-millimetre Portugieser Automatic the power reserve display and small seconds are situated opposite one another on the dial at “3 o’clock” and “9 o’clock”, respectively. Thanks to this striking design feature, the model achieved classic status long ago. Working away inside the case is the IWC-manufactured 52010 calibre, which has space enough for two barrels and has a 7-day power reserve.
This special edition in a nautical design code, which is exclusively available at IWC Boutiques and online at iwc.com, features an 18-carat 5N gold case, a blue dial, gold-plated hands, as well as 18-carat gold appliqués. Ensuring a precise rate is the IWC-manufactured 52010 calibre. The automatic Pellaton winding system features components made of virtually non-wearing ceramic and builds up a power reserve of seven days in two barrels. The decorated movement is visible through a transparent sapphire-glass back.
