YOUR OFFICIAL INVITE TO LONDON.
Nestled among high-end shops and trendy restaurants, IWC has found a new home in London's most legendary landmark, the Battersea Power Station. IWC’s most unique boutique to date, it offers an immersive and interactive experience that’s not to be missed.
The journey begins when you walk through the doors of our 200-square-meter store. You will be greeted by impressive industrial containers with watches taking centre stage in stunning glassless displays allowing you to truly experience the beauty of the new collection. You can then explore the history of craftsmanship that has gone into making IWC’s innovative timepieces at our Engineering Wall, which features design highlights from past years such as the first colored ceramics from the 1980s and the ground-breaking Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph Top Gun Ceratanium®. Have you ever wondered what the inside of your watch looks like? Well, now you can also have the chance to take part in an exclusive watchmaking masterclass where you can construct and deconstruct an actual IWC in-house movement.
Introducing the new IWC Boutique
In the heart of Battersea Power Station
After all your watchmaking curiosities have been satisfied, there's no better place to unwind than in the Big Pilots bar with some locally sourced sustainable snacks and beverages.
From London’s fifth largest power supplier to its current form as a vibrant and contemporary mixed use urban space, to say that Battersea Power Station has a rich heritage is an understatement. This is also not the first time that Battersea Power Station and IWC Schaffhausen have crossed paths. Back in World War II, the plumes of the Power Station were used as beacons for the RAF pilots returning home.
These same pilots were supplied with the iconic Mark XI timepieces which were the ultimate navigational tool watch. There is hardly a destination more suited to IWC’s newest boutique, as it too juxtaposes cutting-edge innovation and technology with a rich history and heritage. There is no time to waste, see you there soon.
