The Aquatimer Automatic Edition “Collectors Forum Watch” Story
The Aquatimer Automatic Edition "Collectors Forum Watch" is only the third watch in the history of IWC to have a bronze case. The particular appeal of this material is that with the passage of time, it grows darker and acquires a characteristic patina. In this way, each of these watches, on offer in a limited edition of 250 timepieces, develops a unique appearance. Against the background of the black dial, the hands, which are coated with luminous material, are easily legible even when diving to great depths. With its Pellaton winding system, the IWC Manufacture caliber 82110 builds up a power reserve of 60 hours. Unusual in a diver's watch is the glass case-back which affords a view of the movement. But even at 30 bar, the special geometry of the glass keeps the watch pressure resistant.
