59000 calibre family

The IWC-manufactured 59000 calibre family encompasses large hand-wound movements with a power reserve of 8 days. When this period expires, the movement is automatically stopped. An additional day of power is stored as a reserve in the mainspring, ensuring a constant torque and precise rate to the end. The balance with a Breguet spring oscillates at a frequency of 4 hertz (28’800 vibrations per hour).
