Join us as we celebrate the Spitfire
at Zurich Airport
Pilots Steve Brooks and Matt Jones are set to make aviation history with the “Silver Spitfire – The Longest Flight” expedition, the first round-the-world flight in a Spitfire. Taking off this August, the two British pilots will cover more than 43,000 kilometres and approximately 30 countries in the iconic aircraft. Before their stopover in Switzerland this November, we invite you to visit our special exhibition honoring “The Longest Flight” and the Spitfire at Zurich Airport (Airside Center Departure, Level 1) from now until June 16, 2019.
The centerpiece of the exhibition is an original Spitfire engine, giving you the chance to see the core of what many say is the most famous – and most important – part of aviation history. You can also see timepieces from our new Pilot’s Watch collection, curated especially for the exhibition.
Get inspired for your next personal take-off with IWC and the Spitfire at Zurich Airport.
