THE COLORS OF TOP GUN:
LAKE TAHOE

PILOT’S WATCH AUTOMATIC 41 TOP GUN LAKE TAHOE
The Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 TOP GUN Lake Tahoe features a case made of striking white ceramic, a black dial with white numerals and indices and a white rubber strap.
THE COLORS OF TOP GUN: LAKE TAHOE
A muted white with a mysterious shimmer: the ceramic color Lake Tahoe is inspired by white uniforms and the winter landscape around freshwater Lake Tahoe – a popular training area for naval aviators. IWC and Pantone® specified this color as IWC Lake Tahoe.

CONTRASTING DESIGN
The white ceramic case is complemented with a pitch black dial featuring white printed minute markers, while the numerals, indices and black hands are coated with Super-LumiNova® to ensure perfect legibility.

EXTENSIVE MATERIAL EXPERTISE
White ceramics are emblematic of IWC’s material expertise. The manufacture experimented with this color as early as in the 1980s, shortly after introducing the world’s first watch case made of black zirconium oxide ceramic. White ceramic is created in a sophisticated manufacturing process in which zirconium oxide is mixed with other metallic oxides and sintered at high temperatures in an oven.
WHERE EILEEN LEARNED TO FLY
Lake Tahoe is one of the most famous and popular winter sports areas in the USA. It was in this magical landscape that Eileen Gu first put on skis. Today, she is the measure of all things in freestyle skiing. A member of the IWC family since 2021, Eileen recently wrote history by becoming the first action sports athlete ever to win three medals at the same Olympics.
