IWC CERAMIC
As early as in the 1980s, IWC experimented with different ceramic colors. Colored ceramics are created in a sophisticated process in which zirconium oxide is mixed with other metallic oxides and sintered at high temperatures in a kiln. Because the color changes during the furnace process, it takes countless trials and a lot of experience to define the right mixture.
