Today’s Big Pilot’s Watch 43 is powered by the IWC-manufactured 82100 calibre. Focused on maximum precision and ultimate reliability, the Pellaton automatic winding system uses the slightest of movements on the wearers wrist to wind the mainspring. An engineering marvel, the automatic winding system contains components that are crafted from virtually wear-free zirconium oxide ceramic. Fully wound, the movement stores 60 hours of power.
A Space Advanced As The Watches It Makes
The Manufakturzentrum. Twenty-five engineering firms, 70 construction companies, and 100 craftsmen worked for 2 years to make it a reality. Home to more than 400 craftsmen and employees, it is here that movements are made, assembled and researched.
It is the biggest ever investment in IWC’s history and a clear sign of our commitment to the town and people of Schaffhausen, the historic Swiss town that gives “IWC Schaffhausen” its name.
