These sophisticated Portugieser watches bring together a flying minute tourbillon and a chronograph with a flyback function. The retrograde date displays indicates the date on an arch-shaped scale located at 9 o’clock.

APPLIED ARABIC NUMERALS

A recurring design element of the Portugieser is the applied Arabic numerals, which are individually affixed to the dial by hand.

89000 calibre family

The IWC-manufactured 89000 calibre family features chronograph movements with a flyback function, allowing the chronograph to be restarted quickly while running. The elapsed hours and minutes are displayed together in a totalizer at 12 o'clock, making them easy and intuitive to read. The automatic winding system builds up a power reserve of 68 hours.
