My restless, roaming spirit was taking over once again.... It’s time for another adventure. I want to give in to this inescapable draw towards the west. The romance, anarchy, and chaotic violence of the wild west... is what I seek. Here’s a peek into the adventure across the west.
GHOST OF THE WILD WEST
I have dreams just like a child, and a tremendous amount of curiosity. I’m a grown child that acts upon my childish dreams and my curiosities. I just love to participate, be part of it all. My interest in the cowboy world led me to where I am now. Doing only what I want to do - to fulfill my dreams and interests. I want to ride a horse. I want to do it for real. I don’t care if I fail.
I’m going where the ghost of the wild west is still alive. It is raw, untamed, and vast; I love it, I feel free; it is magnificent. I’ve ditched my helmet a couple hundred miles earlier in Montana. I’m riding into Wyoming through Yellowstone National Park. It’s summer, nature is alive, the colors, the smells... my senses are going wild, everything is intensified. I’m alive.
I’ll be at a friend’s ranch in Moran, Wyoming.... soon.
TEACH ME HOW TO DANCE
Horses and motorcycles are very similar. You feel everything. My eyes are big. My bike teaches me to be extremely present. It’s almost a survival thing. A horse – wow, how powerful they are! Being on a horse’s back intensifies my ability to experience things. It’s just like dancing… and you are the lead. There’s a lot of gentleness and emotion involved in this dance as the horse reacts to every single one of your emotions. I’m being in utter awe.
I’m watching every cowboy. It’s wildly obvious that they are amazing. I see them in their environment, their element, controlling the horses. One is an amazing dancer. He teaches me how to dance.

HUNGRY FOR VIVID MEMORIES
“Josh, just flip them. Grab its tail and pull, pull pull!!!” I feel like I’m about to pull the cow’s tail off. But it flips! I’m not in my comfort zone, but I love the discomfort that this puts me in. When I’m in those moments, I realize that they do something special for me…. I’m so hungry for them. My presence continues to improve. These moments are not passing me by the way they did when I was younger. They will be vivid memories. And I will continue to feel them... for a long, long time.
