IWC IRACING E-SPORTS SIM CHALLENGE

Participate to our IWC Schaffhausen iRacing E-Sport SIM Challenge contest (the Contest) to win the possibility to attend an exclusive IWC party in partnership with iRacing at the IWC Boutique in London Battersea, streamed live via Twitch on 8 December 2022 by following the instructions below.
By participating in the Contest, you agree to the following terms and conditions (the Terms and Conditions).
- Phase 1: “Join my team”, during which you will have the chance to register for one (1) free-trial of iRacing and perform your best lap scores during the Fastest Lap Challenges events; and
- Phase 2: “Join the party”, to which you will be invited in person to attend or participate in (subject to the Terms and Conditions) the Contest final held in London on 8 December 2022.
1. The Contest is organised in two (2) phases:
2. The Contest is organised by Richemont UK Limited with its place of business at 15 Hill Street, London W1J 5QT, England (IWC).
3. By entering the Contest, you acknowledge that the Contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram and you release IWC of any and all claims relating to or arising from the Contest.
4. Any breach or failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions will entitle IWC to cancel without notice your participation in the Contest, including but not limited to the remittance of any prize that may have been won by the cancellation date.
5. The Terms and Conditions are only available in English. You may find them on https://iracing-esports-sim-challenge.com/.
6. By participating in the Contest, you agree to the Terms and Conditions.
7. IWC reserves the right to cancel the Contest and/or change the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to participants for any reason and without any liability. Any changes to the Terms and Conditions will be posted on the dedicated Tumblr page and linked to on Instagram.
8. The Contest period will run from 22 September 2022, 8 am (UTC+1) to 8 December 2022, 11:59 pm (UTC+1).
9. The Contest is open for participation from 22 September 2022, 8 am (UTC+1) until 24 October 2022, 11:59 pm (UTC+1) (the Entry Period).
10. Any entries received outside the Entry Period will not be considered.
11. The Contest is open exclusively to participants that are of legal age or authorized by a parent or legal guardian. By participating in the Contest, you warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter the Contest and agree to the Terms and Conditions. IWC reserves the right to request proof of age and capacity.
12. Only one (1) entry for the Contest will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
13. Employees and immediate family members of employees of IWC and iRacing and their associated companies, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies connected with the creation or administration of the Contest are not eligible to take part in the Contest.
14. There is no purchase requirement to participate in the Contest, no contract to sign with IWC and there is no charge to register for the Contest other than the usual Internet connection charges payable to your service provider and/or telephone company.
15. The first five hundred (500) entries registered according to the below provisions will be selected for Phase 1 : “Join my team”. Accordingly, Phase 1: “Join my team” is limited to five hundred (500) participants.
16. In order to be eligible to the Phase 2 “Join the party”, participants must reside in the United Kingdom. This condition does not apply to Phase 1 “Join my team”, which is open to all participants residing outside of the United Kingdom also. Consequently, any participant in Phase 1 “Join my team” who does not reside in the United Kingdom will not be selected to participate to Phase 2 “Join the party” irrespective of the results performed during Phase 1 “Join my team”.
17. IWC reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants.
- selecting George Russell team or Jarno Opmeer team (individually a Team);
- submitting your contact details (first name, last name, email address, age range), your Instagram handle and your country of residence; and
- agreeing to the present Terms and Conditions after.
- The IWC free trial includes:
- a three (3) month free access to iRacing;
- USD 20 credit note to purchase and download the “Silverstone Grand Prix Track”;
- access to the standard package of iRacing tracks;
- access to the standard package of cars; and
- the right to use for the purpose of the Contest the Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance Car.
- Fastest Lap Lead Challenge 1 from 10 October 2022, 8 am (UTC+1) until 15 October 2022, 23:59 pm (UTC+1).
- Fastest Lap Lead Challenge 2 from 24 October 2022, 8 am (UTC+1) until 28 October 2022, 11:59 pm (UTC+1).
- Seven (7) races, each of the same determined period of time, will be organised during Phase 2: “Join the party”.
- IWC will designate one (1) member of each Team to compete against each other during each of these seven (7) races.
- The participants in each of these seven (7) races will be different each time so that all the members of each team have the opportunity to race once.
- The winner of each race will be the participant who performs the fastest time during the race.
- The winner Team of Phase 2: “Join the party” will be the Team composed of the winners of at least four (4) out of the seven (7) races (the Winner Team).
- Following the seven (7) races, an eighth and final race will be organised in which the participants who have performed the two (2) fastest times during the previous seven (7) races, irrespective of the Team they are part of, will compete against each other (the Final Race).
- The participant with the fastest time performed during the Final Race will be the winner of the Contest (The Winner).
a. Phase 1: “Join my team”
18. Register during the Entry Period (exclusively) on https://iracing-esports-sim-challenge.com/ by:
19. Once registered, you will receive a one-time-use IWC free trial activation code by email (the IWC Code).
21. You then need to sign up to iRacing on https://www.iracing.com/membership/ by using the IWC Code in order to create an iRacing ID (of a three (3) month validity period) (should you not already have one, in which case you may use the one you already have), purchase and download the “Silverstone Grand Prix Track”. To do so, you will be required to insert your credit card details for download purposes only, no fees will be charged.
22. To allow IWC to keep track of your performance during the Fastest Lap Lead Challenges, you are required to share your iRacing ID with IWC upon IWC request (by email) once the IWC Code is received and in any event before participating in the warm-up events as described in the following paragraph. Should you not share your iRacing ID within the indicated period, your participation in Phase 2: “Join the party” will not be retained irrespective of your results during the Fastest Lap Lead Challenges.
23. Sign in on iRacing on https://members.iracing.com/membersite/login.jsp with your iRacing ID to take part in one (1) or both of the following warm-up events:
24. During the Fastest Lap Lead Challenges, you will have the possibility to practice your racing skills as many time as you wish to score your best lap time by the use of the virtual Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance Car exclusively.
25. The recorded fastest lap as well as the name of each participant will be published within the iRacing game at the completion of each Fastest Lap Lead Challenge.
26. Only one (1) entry per participant is authorised. Furthermore, anyone found to be using multiple accounts will be disqualified without any notice.
27. Within two (2) days from the end of the Fastest Lap Lead Challenge 2, the Winners of Phase 1 (as defined below) will be notified by IWC by email.
28. Each Winner of Phase 1 (as defined below) will have seven (7) days to respond to IWC’s email with the information requested by IWC including their confirmation to participate in Phase 2: “Join the party”. If no answer is received by IWC within the indicated timeframe, the winner will automatically be disqualified definitely from the Contest without further notice.
b. Phase 2: “Join the party”
29. The Winners of Phase 1 (as defined below) will be invited to attend and participate in Phase 2: “Join the party” hosted by IWC in Battersea London at the IWC Boutique on 8 December 2022.
30. The Attendees (as defined below) will also be invited to attend only (excluding any participation) with a guest Phase 2: “Join the party” hosted by IWC in Battersea London at the IWC Boutique on 8 December 2022.
31. Each Winner of Phase 1 and Attendee (both as defined below) that has confirmed his/her participation in and/or attendance to (as applicable) Phase 2: “Join the party” will receive an allowance of GBP 500 (the Allowance). The Allowance may be spent for related travel and accommodation reservations exclusively which shall be organised by IWC or any affiliated company exclusively.
32. The Winners of Phase 1 will remain during Phase 2: “Join the party” in the same team (George Russell or Jarno Opmeer) as chosen when they registered to the Contest.
33. In addition to the Winners of Phase 1, two (2) additional participants qualified for Phase 2: “Join the party”, following an IWC in-store contest held in an IWC boutique, will participate in Phase 2: “join the party” (individually a Rookie Racer). One (1) Rookie Racer will be part of each Team.
34. The Seven (7) Races:
35. The losing team will be referred to as the Runner-up Team for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
36. The Final Race:
37. Further details related to proceedings of Phase 2: “Join the party” will be communicated to each confirmed attendee and participant which shall include the time schedule of the Phase 2: “Join the party”.
38. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, each attendee and participant in Phase 2: “Join the party” agrees to comply with any and all instructions related to the various races and the use of the racing simulators displayed at the IWC Boutique and used for the purposes of this Contest during Phase 2: “Join the party”.
39. For the purpose of the Terms and Conditions “Attendee(s)” means:
a. The runners-up of Phase 1: “Join my team” including and limited to:
i. The participant who performs the third fastest lap during the Fastest Lap Lead Challenge 1;
ii. The participant who performs the fourth fastest lap during the Fastest Lap Lead Challenge 1;
iii. The participant who performs the third fastest lap during the Fastest Lap Lead Challenge 2; and
iv. The participant who performs the fourth fastest lap during the Fastest Lap Lead Challenge 2.
b. The five (5) first registrants to Phase 1: “Join my team” during the Entry Period according to paragraph 18.
40. The winners of Phase 1: “Join my team” will amount to eight (8) participants which shall include and be limited to:
a. The participants of George Russell team who perform the two (2) fastest lap during the Fastest Lap Lead Challenge 1;
b. The participants of Jarno Opmeer team who perform the two (2) fastest lap during the Fastest Lap Lead Challenge 1;
c. The participants of George Russell team who perform the two (2) fastest lap during the Fastest Lap Lead Challenge 2; and
d. The participants of Jarno Opmeer team who perform the two (2) fastest lap during the Fastest Lap Lead Challenge 2.
(together the Winner(s) of Phase 1)
- Miniature helmet (value of £38);
- A voucher for a Tour of Mercedes F1 Factory including a lunch and 3 (three) hour simulator challenge at Esports HQ on the Mercedes team rigs (travel expenses excluded) (value of £1,500); and
- One (1) year’s subscription to iRacing (courtesy of IWC) with a USD 200 credit note (value of USD 310) credited directly on the winner’s iRacing account.
- Miniature helmet (value of £38);
- A voucher for a Mercedes AMG GT driving experience at Mercedes Benz World Brooklands Dr, Weybridge KT13 0SL (travel expenses excluded) (value £700); and
- One (1) year’s subscription to iRacing with a USD 100 credit (value of USD 210) credited directly on the winner’s iRacing ccount.

41. The Winner will receive an IWC PILOT’S WATCH CHRONOGRAPH 41 EDITION “MERCEDES-AMG PETRONAS FORMULA ONE™ TEAM” (retail value £6,900).

44. The participants who have competed against each other during the same race (one (1) of the seven (7) races) and have achieved the closest times (i.e. times with the less difference between each other during the same race) will each win one (1) year’s subscription to iRacing with a USD 50 credit (value of USD 160) credited directly on the winner’s iRacing account.
e. Biggest Wipe-Out Prize
45. The participant who has performed the biggest wipe-out (designated as such by Jarno Opmeer during the course of Phase 2: “Join the party”) during any of the races will win one (1) year’s subscription to iRacing with a USD 50 credit (value of USD 160) credited directly on the winner’s iRacing account.
f. Slowest Lap Prize
46. The participant who has performed the slowest lap of all the races organised during Phase 2: “Join the party” will win one (1) year’s subscription to iRacing with a USD 50 credit (value of USD 160) credited directly on the winner’s iRacing account.
g. General provisions
47. All the above listed prizes will be remitted to the winners at the end of Phase 2 “Join the party” at the IWC Boutique on 8 December 2022 by a representative of IWC.
48. If participant that has received a prize is unable to claim it for any reason, no compensation or substitution will be provided in lieu thereof and IWC will have no further obligation to said participant.
49. No prize will be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of any participant. No substitution is allowed except that IWC may in its sole discretion substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
50. The prizes are personally attributed and not transferable.
51. There is no cash alternative for any of the prizes.
52. All the participants that have received a prize (including the Winner) are subject to the income reporting and (if applicable) required tax payments in his or her country of residence.
53. Participants that have received a prize (including the Winner) may be asked by IWC to provide additional contact information and details within a determined timeframe in order to enable the delivery of their awarded prize. If they fail to reply within the given timeframe or if they are unable to claim their awarded prize, then those participants will be disqualified.
54. IWC will not be held liable for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission or mail delivery, communications line failure, theft, destruction, corruption, alteration of, or unauthorised access to entries, or entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control.
55. IWC does not accept liability for any damage, loss, pain or suffering incurred by any participant participating in the Contest. IWC is not responsible for any problems with local postal services or technical faults, be they in networks or telephone lines, computer systems, servers or suppliers, mobile telephones or computer equipment or software failing of any email system or entry form received due to technical problems or to congestion related to the Internet, telephone lines or any website, or any combination thereof, including any damage or prejudice to the participant’s telephone computer or to any other person or mobile linked with or related to participation in or downloading of material on IWC’s internet site, be it related to the Contest or not.
56. You agree that IWC and 10 Group Limited, an IWC affiliated company will process participants’ personal data in connection with the Contest for the purpose of competition administration. IWC may also do so for promotional and/or marketing and/or communication purposes by IWC including the further spread by sharing in any and all media such as, but not exclusively, digital media, IWC websites including the IWC YouTube Channel, and official Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tumblr and Pinterest pages.
57. By participating in the Contest you hereby warrant that all personal details you might be required to submit are true, updated and complete.
58 The Winner grants IWC, the non-exclusive right to use, disseminate and reproduce his/her picture, voice or any other attribute of his/her personality as it appears in any film, photograph etc. taken at any event that may be organised free of charge for one (1) year from the end of the Contest in any media whatsoever, at the discretion of IWC.
59. The participants also consent to their personal data including their picture, voice or any other attribute of their personality being transferred out of the country in which the data was originally collected.
60. Other than as is required for the administration of the Contest and as stated in these Terms and Conditions, any personal data provided to IWC relating to the participants will be destroyed in the six (6) months following the end of the Contest. If you request disclosure, correction, deletion or that IWC stop using your personal data, IWC will deal with such requests in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The deletion of your personal data or a request for IWC to stop using it will result in your disqualification from the Contest.
61. Any personal data provided by the participants will be processed by IWC in accordance with applicable laws and IWC’s privacy policy which is available at [https://www.iwc.com/gb/en/terms-and-legal/privacy-policy.html]. You are invited to review and agree to these prior to entering the Contest.
62. For any requests or questions about processing of personal data, please contact iwcuk@the10group.com.
63. Participants will not post any defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive or illegal information or material related to the Contest and will not use the Contest in any offensive or illegal manner.
64. IWC reserves the right to disqualify any participant if IWC has reasonable grounds to believe that the participant has breached any of the Terms and Conditions, has otherwise behaved in an unfair or fraudulent way, or has unduly used their influence to direct online traffic to the Contest.
65. The “IWC” and “IWC Schaffhausen” word and/or semi-figurative marks (collectively the Trademarks) that are used in relation with the Contest are registered, unregistered or otherwise protected trademarks of IWC or its affiliated companies.
66. Other trademarks (including but not limited to “iRacing”) are proprietary marks and are registered to their respective owners.
67. Nothing contained in your participation to the Contest should be construed as granting, by implication or otherwise, any licence or right to use any trademark without IWC’s prior written permission or that of such third party who owns such trademark. Misuse of any trademark used in relation with the Contest, or any other content on the Contest, except as provided herein, is strictly prohibited.
68. In the event of any dispute whether such dispute concerns the conduct or eligibility of the participants, the results or any and all other matters relating to the Contest or the Terms and Conditions, IWC's decision shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
69. For all other matters, the Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
70. Disputes arising in connection with the Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Courts of London.
