52000 calibre family
The IWC-manufactured 52000 calibre family comprises large automatic movements. The highly efficient Pellaton winding system uses movements of the rotor in both directions to build up a power reserve of 168 hours (7 days) in two barrels. Components that are subject to high stresses, such as the automatic wheel and the clicks, are made of virtually wear-free ceramic.
Silver Moon
The unique whitish shimmer of the moon’s surface is reflected on the silver-plated moon dials, which are crafted in a complex process comprising 60 individual steps.
