There are not only cases, hands and dials that are required to produce a watch but also many additional services that are not directly part of the product. The purchase of these services at the right quality, the right time and the right price is the responsibility of indirect purchasing in close cooperation with the respective specialist department. Thus indirect purchasing takes care of projects from the machinery to the promotional video, from office equipment to the marketing event.
In the same way, when we buy watch components we are highly sensitive to all aspects of responsible procurement and our suppliers undertake to observe the areas of environmental protection, employment conditions and work ethics based on our code of conduct.
Since we have many suppliers to look after we also focus on further developing our standardised processes and constantly try to improve and become more efficient.
As an intern you will assist the Supply Manager for Marketing Material in implementing tender projects, improving different processes in the area of supply management and maintaining our internal supplier portal.
We are looking for students or graduates (university, university of applied sciences), preferably from the areas of economics or law. Ideally you will have previous buying experience from other apprenticeships. A very strong knowledge of German and English is required and French is a plus.
