Biography
British-born Lewis Hamilton first sat at the wheel of a go-kart when he was just eight and knew from then on that his passion was cars and racing. In 2007, he had his Formula 1™ debut driving for the McLaren team and that same year was runner-up in the World Championship. His already extraordinary career reached its first zenith at the end of the 2008 season, when he was crowned the youngest World Champion in Formula 1™ history. After six successful years, Lewis decided it was time for something new and moved to the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ team for the start of the 2013 season. There he won the World Championship title again, in 2014 and 2015. He has also designed his own Ingenieur Chronograph for IWC Schaffhausen.
