IWC Schaffhausen
The Orlebar Brown clothing brand was founded in 2007 by photographer Adam Brown in London. Reinventing sporty, elegant leisurewear with its unique tailored approach, Orlebar Brown proves that men can still look stylish in casual outfits. The company is one of the most innovative clothing brands, setting the highest standards in comfort, quality and functionality.
The IWC Schaffhausen and Orlebar Brown partnership is founded on both companies’ passion for craftsmanship and innovation. As is the case with IWC and its watches, Orlebar Brown places great importance on the smallest details. The brand’s popular swim shorts are based on the pattern of a pair of traditional men’s suit trousers and are crafted from 60 elements that together provide a perfect fit.
In 2020, to mark the start of their collaboration, IWC unveiled the Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph Edition “Orlebar Brown” (Ref. IW390704). Working together, IWC and Orlebar Brown also designed a nine-piece capsule collection of resort wear. One of the highlights was a pair of photographic swim shorts with signature side fasteners, depicting a sailing yacht from Solaris Yachts. Orlebar Brown also helped customise a Solaris 55 to correctly reflect the spirit and visual codes of IWC’s new Portugieser watch collection.
