Round shape for the Da Vinci watches

IWC Schaffhausen has returned to a round case for the Da Vinci collection, which was so successfully established by the Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar in 1985. The slightly recessed inner circle on the dial, the striking dome-shaped crown and the circular date window at “6 oclock” all add a touch of feminine style to this three-hand timepiece.

Authentic elements inspired by Da Vinci

The simple design of the Da Vinci, with its large Arabic numerals, slim feuille hands and double-framed bezel with a visible seam between the two frames, recalls the iconic design code from 1985, the year in which the Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar implemented authentic elements inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci.

Characteristic striking strap horns

The articulated strap horns and curved lugs are characteristic features of Da Vinci timepieces. They allow the integrated straps to fit snugly on the wrist, which also makes the watches attractive to women. Three-wing butterfly clasps ensure the wearer will not drop the watch when putting it on and taking it off.
