- Size 41
The Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar brings together the Gérald Genta-derived integrated bracelet sports watch design with the crown-controlled perpetual calendar developed by Kurt Klaus. It is offered in a 41-millimeter case size.

82000 calibre family
Movements from the IWC-manufactured 82000 calibre family are equipped with a Pellaton winding system. Using movements of the rotor in both directions, it builds up a power reserve of 60 or 80 hours in the mainspring. Components subject to high stresses, such as the automatic wheel or the clicks, are manufactured from virtually wear-free zirconium oxide ceramic. The balance oscillates at a frequency of 4 hertz (28’800 vibrations per hour).

Putting eternity on the wrist.
During his time as head watchmaker at IWC Schaffhausen, Kurt Klaus translated the Gregorian calendar with all its many irregularities into a mechanical program for a wristwatch. His legendary complication was first featured in the Da Vinci Chronograph Perpetual Calendar in 1985 and is still regarded as a milestone in watchmaking.
