PARTNERSHIPS

Mercedes-AMG

IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes-AMG became partners in 2004, making their partnership one of the longest collaborations between a watch manufacturer and an automotive engineering company. The partnership is founded on shared values: both brands are committed to engineering excellence and passionate about performance and design, while combining luxury with technical sophistication.

Mercedes-AMG is the performance car division of Mercedes-Benz. AMG was established in 1967 in Grossaspach, Germany, by Hans Werner Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher with the visionary idea of incorporating racing technology into road-going series vehicles. Today, it represents the sporting spearhead of Mercedes-Benz, with a wide range of models including the AMG GT family of sports cars.

Within the scope of the partnership, IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes-AMG have created many memorable experiences in motorsport and beyond for their customers. IWC Schaffhausen has also developed several special edition watches that echo the spirit of AMG’s performance cars. These editions often draw on design cues, materials, and aesthetics from the world of automotive engineering and motorsport.
