IWC Schaffhausen introduces Portugieser Chronograph edition “Boutique Zurich”
Limited to 150 pieces, the Portugieser Chronograph Edition “Boutique Zurich” has a 40.9-millimetre case made of stainless steel, ideal for a more slender wrist, a silver-plated dial with applied Arabic numerals and rhodium feuille hands.
A new soft brown calfskin leather strap replaces the traditional alligator leather strap for a fresh sport-chic aesthetic. This elegant sports wristwatch with chronograph movement displays a typical IWC arrangement. The mechanical movement with automatic winding has a power reserve of approximately 44 hours when fully wound.
As a timeless icon of our collections and one of the best known watches of IWC, the Portugieser Chronograph naturally came to mind when designing a limited edition timepiece for our Bahnhofstrasse boutique, home of IWC in Zurich. A special “Edition Boutique Zurich” engraving will give a unique signature to the back of the case.
